Google is discontinuing free snacks, laundry services, and other employee perks plans to announce cost-cutting initiatives amid a wave of layoffs. According to sources, the cost of the perks provided to Google employees has risen significantly for the company. As a result, Google has decided to cut some of its expensive expenditures.

Google’s company-wide benefits, such as free food from micro kitchens, laundry services, massages, and business lunches, are being removed.

Google will also postpone hiring choices to save money. According to a Business Insider report, Google’s Chief Financial Officer, Ruth Porat, stated that the firm must use finances properly to focus on higher-priority tasks.
