Actor Taraka Ratna passed away after 23 days of hospitalization.


 

After a 23-day of hospitalization, actor Taraka Ratna passes away. The actor collapsed at the padayatra of his cousin, TDP politician Nara Lokesh, in Kuppam, and despite the best efforts of doctors, he did not survive.

Actor Taraka Ratna died away on Saturday at Bengaluru’s Narayana hospital after a 23-day battle. He was 40 years old and was survived by his wife Alekya Reddy and their daughter. His last rituals will probably take place on Monday and his body is being moved by ambulance to Hyderabad.

The actor, who is the son of Mohana Krishna and the grandson of the great N.T. Rama Rao, collapsed on January 27 in Kuppam as a result of heart issues while taking part in his cousin and TDP politician Nara Lokesh’s padayatra. He was sent right away to a nearby hospital in Kuppam, and then for better medical care, to Bengaluru. Despite best efforts, he was unable to make any progress, and on Saturday, after spending 23 days in the ICU, he passed away.
